Is Mental Health Training a legal requirement?

It is a recommendation by The Health & Safety Executive (HSE), not a law, that workplaces have Mental Health First Aiders on hand in the same way as you have physical first aiders. That said, this is regularly being campaigned for in parliament and may come into effect at some point in the future. It is our belief that mental health should be treated in the same way as physical health by employers.

Do I need prior knowledge of mental health to attend any of the training sessions?

No. No prior knowledge or experience is required to attend any of our mental health training services.
