How we help

Helping your people to stress less and smile more…

Everything we do sits under one umbrella – what we call Human Skills training.

These are the skills that determine how well people lead, connect, communicate and cope with the stresses of work, life, change and uncertainty.

Skills that are sometimes called soft – but that anyone who has tried to master them knows are anything but. Hard, sometimes messy, occasionally awkward – and always worthwhile.

When these skills are present in an organisation, they change everything. When they’re absent, they quietly cost everything – showing up as absenteeism, presenteeism, and people leaving for somewhere they feel better.

We work with HR leaders and Learning and Development professionals to build these skills. Not with off-the-shelf programmes and generic content – but with tailored, founder-delivered training rooted in lived experience and grounded in science.

Where we start depends on where you are.

We’ve organised what we do into two areas to help you find your entry point – but we’d be the first to tell you they’re deeply intertwined. If you land on one and recognise yourself in the other too, that’s not a coincidence. Follow the thread.

Emotional Agility

Emotional Agility – or more precisely, Psychological Agility – is the ability to think, feel and behave with a high level of emotional intelligence. More than just awareness – it’s the ability to adjust and adapt depending on the situation. This is about having awareness of our impact on others, as well as on ourselves, and taking accountability for how we show up. It’s not a personality trait. It’s a skill. And like all skills, it can be learned, practised and developed.

This training is for organisations that want to build healthy, inclusive, high-performing cultures before challenges emerge.

Mental Wellbeing

In the same way we all have physical health, we all have mental health. At any point in time it can be thriving, struggling, or somewhere in between. Poor mental health (difficulties with thoughts, feelings, behaviours. e.g. overwhelm, withdrawal, low self esteem, unhelpful coping mechanisms) can be experienced by anyone at some point in time, and the conditions we create at work can either protect people or put them at greater risk.

This training is for organisations that take the psychological safety and wellbeing of their people as seriously as their physical safety – equipping people to recognise, respond to and reduce the impact of stress, burnout and mental health challenges.

Not sure which is right for you?

Most organisations aren’t sure when they first come to us. They know something needs to change – they can feel it in their teams, see it in their data, hear it in exit interviews. But the exact shape of what they need is something we work out together.

You might start with our free Human Skills Diagnostic – a quick way to see where your organisation stands against the core building blocks of healthy, high-performing teams.

Or just talk to us. An honest conversation about what’s going on with your people – and whether, and how, we can help.
