Here are some of our favourite “I will” healthy habits to support your overall physical health:

I will…

  • Do 3 squats
  • Jog on the spot for 10 seconds
  • Dance for 60 seconds (like no one is watching)
  • Do 3 press-ups (against the wall)
  • Throw 3 (pretend) punches
  • Stretch for 30 seconds
  • Do 10 shoulder rolls
  • Stand up and move
  • Touch my toes
  • Do 5 star jumps / burpees
  • Drink a glass of water
  • Take my vitamin tablets / supplements
  • Choose “the healthy” option
  • Take a short walk outside
  • Meal prep for tomorrow
  • Plan my weekly meals
  • Stretch my quads / hamstrings / glutes
  • Snack on veg
  • Swap a sugary option for a healthy one
  • Do a 30 second plank

Remember, we’ve kept them purposely small. The key to forming a sustainable healthy habit is to get started and by keeping the habit as easy and as quick to do, you set yourself up for long-term success. The more you successfully maintain your habit, the easier it will become AND THEN, it will naturally build from there!
