The sun was shining over the beautiful setting of Richmond, the perfect backdrop for a HIIT workout. This was followed by a calming mindfulness experience before we welcomed our guest speaker, Dan Strachan from Richmond Borough Mind for the CHAT element of the event.

Mindful about Mental Health
Our theme for October was Mental Health to tie in with World Mental Health Day which takes place every year on the 10 October.
Thank you to Dan Strachan for joining us at this month’s HIIT+CHILL+CHAT mini-retreat to share his story around his mental health journey to recovery. Dan spoke about how mindfulness is now such an important part of how he manages his mental health and he candidly answered questions from the our guests around supporting those with their own mental health struggles.
